Find out why your server was listed, stop the cause and get removed, without paying anyone.
First, check how much it matters
Run your domain or server address through the blacklist check. A listing on SpamCop or Barracuda for a server you send from needs fixing now. If you send through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another big provider, you share their servers: they handle listings themselves, and our check doesn’t count a listing of their shared servers against you.
Get removed in four steps
1
Find the cause. Look for a hacked email account, a website contact form being abused, an old or bought list full of spam traps, or a sudden jump in volume.
2
Stop it. Reset passwords, add a captcha to forms, pause campaigns and clean your list. Removal requests fail while spam is still going out.
3
Request removal. Use each list’s own removal page. SpamCop and some others clear entries on their own within a day or two of the spam stopping. Never pay for removal.
4
Ramp back up slowly. Send to your most engaged contacts first and check where your email lands before you return to full volume.
Check it worked
Run the check again once the list confirms removal. Listings can take a few hours to clear everywhere.
