Free DMARC lookup
Run a DMARC lookup on any domain. See its policy in plain English, whether it passes Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook rules, and exactly what to fix.
Result for yourcompany.com
The policy is p=none, so inboxes take no action on fake mail. It meets the bulk sender minimum, but anyone can still send email pretending to be this domain.
Your DMARC record
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:[email protected]; pct=100
What each part means
| Part | Your value | What it means |
|---|---|---|
v | DMARC1 | Version. Always DMARC1. |
p | none | Policy. Inboxes take no action on failing mail; you only get reports. |
rua | [email protected] | Where daily summary reports are sent. |
pct | 100 | The policy covers all of your mail. |
sp | Not set | Subdomains follow the main policy, so they are unprotected too. |
| Bulk sender rules | Result |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Pass |
| Yahoo | Pass |
| Outlook | Pass |
| Protection against fake mail | Low |
Move to p=quarantine. Once your reports show only your own senders, change p=none to p=quarantine. Fake mail then goes to spam instead of the inbox.
DMARC reports arrive as XML files nobody can read. EasyDMARC turns them into a dashboard and flags senders you don’t know.

Set a subdomain policy. Add sp=quarantine so mail sent from your subdomains is covered too.
DMARC is one line of text in your domain’s DNS. It tells Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook what to do with email that claims to be from you but fails SPF and DKIM, and where to send reports about it.
p=none
Nothing is blocked. You get reports showing who sends email as you. The safe place to start.
p=quarantine
Mail that fails goes to the spam folder. Switch to this once your reports show only your own senders.
p=reject
Mail that fails is refused outright. Full protection against anyone faking your domain.

DMARC builds on both, so check them first. Our SPF and DKIM checkers are coming soon.
02
Add the record as a TXT entry at _dmarc.yourdomain. The DMARC record generator writes it for you.

After two to four weeks of clean reports, move to quarantine, then reject.
Start with p=none to collect reports without blocking anything. Move to quarantine, then reject, once the reports show only your own senders.
It removes one of the big reasons. Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook expect it from bulk senders, but content, sending volume and list quality still matter.
Usually minutes to a few hours, depending on your DNS settings. Run the lookup again after you save the record.
Yes. Every sending domain needs SPF, DKIM and DMARC, or Gmail and Outlook will treat its mail as suspect from day one.
