Recommended tools
Most cold email tools now include warm-up. Here is when that is enough, and when a standalone warm-up tool is worth paying for.
Prices from each company’s own pricing page in October 2026, billed monthly. Annual plans cost less. Prices change, so check before you buy.
Usually not. If you send with Instantly, Smartlead or lemlist, warm-up is already included, for every inbox you connect. A separate tool makes sense when you send from your own platform or CRM, or when you want detailed inbox placement testing alongside warm-up.
| Tool | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Instantly | Included from $47 a month | Unlimited warm-up for every connected inbox |
| Smartlead | Included from $39 a month | Warm-up on every plan, unlimited mailboxes |
| lemlist | Included from $69 a month | lemwarm warm-up with every plan |
| MailReach | $19.50 per inbox a month | Warm-up up to 100 emails a day, health checks and spam tests |
| Warmy | From $49 a month | Warm-up, seed-list inbox tests and deliverability help |
Warm-up tools send small amounts of email between real inboxes, open it, reply to it and move it out of spam. That builds a sending history for a new inbox before your real campaigns start. Plan on about three weeks, starting around 10 emails a day per inbox and building to 30. The cold email calculator shows the schedule for your inboxes.
If SPF, DKIM or DMARC fails, or your server is on a blacklist, warm-up won’t save you. Run the full domain scan first.
